In the late 1990s, the dangers of asbestos were revealed after prolonged and/or regular exposure was linked to a number of asbestos-related diseases, many of which are fatal. Whilst the material was subsequently banned from construction, the product remains commonplace in the majority of buildings, in many forms with varying risks profiles. As buildings age and deteriorate the risk of exposure also changes, necessitating management and often subsequent removal. Whilst we can assist with the removal of non-licenced materials, DDS Environmental can assist with the removal of licenced products.
The asbestos removal categorisation and process depends on the type of asbestos being removed and how big the area is. We are on hand to offer advice, manage and remove asbestos for you, whether it’s licensed removal or non-licenced removal.
