DDS Environmental has been providing asbestos removals in the UK since 2013, helping to keep both people and the environment safe from the harmful effects of the carcinogenic fibres. Our workforce is fully qualified and expertly trained; they completely understand their significant responsibilities when working with asbestos.
Prior to the year 2000, asbestos was commonly used throughout the construction industry in all types of buildings. In the late 1990s, the dangers of asbestos were revealed after prolonged and/or regular exposure was linked to a number of asbestos-related diseases, many of which are fatal. Whilst the material was subsequently banned from construction, the product remains commonplace in the majority of buildings, in many forms with varying risks profiles. As buildings age and deteriorate the risk of exposure also changes, necessitating management and often subsequent removal. DDS Environmental is fully compliant with The Control of Asbestos Regulations 2012 (CAR) which applies to any activity which may involve the exposure of employees (and others) to asbestos – essential compliance for any Asbestos Removal Contractor.
The asbestos removal categorisation and process depends on the type of asbestos being removed and how big the area is. We are on hand to offer advice, manage and remove asbestos for you, whether it’s licensed removal or non-licenced removal.
